A collection of United Kingdom white metal and gilt metal effect coinage and commemorative medals, primarily from the reigns of George VI and Elizabeth II. The lot includes a five pound coin with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D FIVE POUNDS and a crown-sized equestrian commemorative issue. A series of sixpences are present, dated 1948, 1955, 1958, 1961, and 1967, showing the monarch’s portraits and inscriptions including FID DEF IND IMP and ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D.
