A collection of seven hand-blown art glass fruits, comprising one large red apple, three large green apples, one pear-shaped object, and two small fruits. The large red apple is constructed with a solid red body and an applied dark green or black glass stem and a single leaf. The three large green apples are rendered in translucent glass with indented tops, one of which features a regular pattern of internal air bubbles known as bullicante. The pear-shaped? object is clear-cased with internal swirling ribbons of pink and white glass. The collection also includes a small transparent amber or orange apple and a small green apple with internal mottling and a darker core. Each piece is finished with a polished base.
