The set includes various chisels and gouges with steel blades, fitted with turned wooden handles likely fashioned from ash? or boxwood?, and secured by brass ferrules. The assortment features specialized lathe accessories by Robert Sorby in their original retail packaging, including a screw chuck and a carving clamp table. A metal drill chuck and a small tin of miscellaneous components are also included. One tool handle bears a black and gold oval label reading MARPLES MADE IN ENGLAND. Three accessories are held in plastic packaging with red card headers printed Robert Sorby SHEFFIELD ● ENGLAND. Adhesive labels on the packaging read P401 TABLE FOR CARVING CLAMP and 660B SCREW CHUCK / FACEPLATE 75mm x 20 x 2.0. A small green and gold label is present on another handle but the text is not legible.
