A group of vintage collectibles and ephemera. The lot includes a cloth doll designed as a flamenco dancer, featuring a painted fabric face with side-glancing eyes and red lips, black hair, and wearing a multi-tiered red cotton dress with white polka dots and cream-coloured lace-edged ruffles. Also included is a silver-toned flip-top cigarette lighter housed in a circular metal tin. Both the lighter and the lid of the tin feature a debossed square emblem containing the words SILK CUT in capital letters. Accompanying the lighter is a small purple and white printed booklet titled Guarantee and Instructions for Use, which bears the name Hadson (U.K.) LTD and a printed address of 1/9 Wembley Commercial Centre, East Lane, Wembley, Middx. HA9 7FE. The ephemera consists of a group of topographical postcards, including monochrome and sepia views. Legible captions include THE OLD AND NEW BRIDGES AND TOWN HALL, BERWICK, RUINS OF CASTLE, BERWICK-ON-TWEED, and Newcastle and Gateshead. One postcard features a handwritten inscription in black ink reading Whitby The Bridge 1913. Completing the lot is a small circular framed cameo depicting a female profile in relief against a dark ground, and a print showing a coastal harbour scene with numerous boats and buildings.
