A large Bohemian? ruby-stained glass vase of footed baluster form. The vessel is constructed from clear glass with a ruby red stain, featuring a central wheel-engraved cartouche with a gilt-decorated border. The finely detailed scene depicts a four-horse mail coach travelling through a landscape, accompanied by a driver and a post-horn blower. To the right of the coach roof is a legible engraved cursive signature reading Kucher. The coach door is engraved with a small post-horn symbol. The body is further embellished with two bands of cut-to-clear oval punties, alongside hand-applied gilt bands to the flared rim, neck, and spreading circular foot.
Height: Approximately 42 cm.
