A bonded marble? sculpture of neoclassical design, depicting a nymph and satyr in an intimate embrace. The figures are rendered in a creamy white composite material with a smooth, matte finish. The male satyr is shown with a crown of grapes and vine leaves, while the pair are positioned on an integral rocky base featuring a cluster of grapes. The group is modelled in a semi-nude state, capturing a Bacchic scene characteristic of classical revivalism.
Height: 23.5 cm.
