A white metal relief plaque of rectangular form, featuring a high relief life casting of a human right hand. The casting captures anatomical details including the skin folds of the palm and joints of the fingers, which are set against a textured, irregular ground. The plaque is finished in a dull grey patina and features a circular drill hole at each of the four corners for mounting. The work is executed in the manner of the artist Roy Adzak? (1927-1987), who was known for his explorations of form and space through life casting techniques.
