A studio ceramic bowl of rounded, tapering form. The vessel features hand-painted botanical decoration in the form of stylised sunflower? heads in shades of deep cobalt blue, white, and red. The petals are depicted with dense, radiating brushstrokes, while the floral centres are stippled with orange and red tones. A clear, glossy glaze covers the interior and exterior, integrated with scattered metallic gold-coloured flecks throughout the floral design. The decoration continues to the outer walls of the bowl, which terminates in a plain rim.
