The chandelier comprises a central vertical stem and circular ceiling rose, with three horizontal arms each supporting a bulb holder gallery. Each arm is decorated with a curved, crescent-shaped plywood? slat featuring a light-toned wood grain finish. The fixture is fitted with a set of three tapered clear glass shades, each moulded with a heavy crystalline icicle? or pineapple textured pattern. The brass effect metal? surfaces display surface tarnish, oxidation and pitting throughout. The electrical wiring is currently disconnected, showing brown and blue leads at the canopy, and requires professional safety testing and rewiring prior to installation and use.
