A collection of four silver-plated on copper serving pieces produced in Sheffield, England. The group includes a large oval tray, two circular gallery trays, and a shaped circular salver. The large oval tray features a bed densely engraved with foliate and scrollwork patterns surrounding a plain central oval cartouche, finished with a raised, plain rim. A large circular salver is designed with a pierced gallery border and a foliate-engraved bed, supported by three cast feet; its underside is impressed with a mark that is not legible as a name above the text SILVER ON COPPER, MADE IN SHEFFIELD, and ENGLAND. The small circular tray features a pierced gallery and an engraved foliate base, with two white adhesive labels attached to the interior surface. The shaped circular salver features a plain polished centre and a moulded Chippendale style border; it is marked on the underside with an impressed stamp reading Sheffield Reproduction, Silver Plated on Copper, Made in Sheffield, England.
