A Chinese porcelain ginger jar of ovoid form with a domed lid topped by a gilded pointed finial. The exterior is decorated in the Mille Fleur pattern, featuring a dense arrangement of hand-enamelled floral blossoms including peonies and chrysanthemums against a solid black Famille Noire ground. The lid is detailed with a central floral medallion within a pale green geometric border. A yellow auction lot sticker is present on the shoulder. Also included is a large twin-handled pedestal vase of baluster shape, featuring a flared scalloped rim and ornate scrolling foliate handles. The body is decorated with a shaded green glaze and a central spray of red, pink, and yellow roses. The rim and handles are accented with gilt highlights, and the piece is supported by a moulded pedestal base in a matte ochre glaze.
