An 18ct yellow gold brooch modelled as a miniature Wellington boot, featuring vibrant translucent green guilloché enamel over a textured ground with an incised strap and buckle detail. The top rim is grain-set with a horizontal row of eight round brilliant-cut diamonds in white metal. The reverse is fitted with a hinged pin and a rotating safety barrel clasp. The piece is stamped with the edition number ‘5/100’ and the initials ‘A G W’. It bears a full set of British hallmarks including the Crown, ‘750’ fineness mark, Leopard’s Head for the London Assay Office, and the date letter ‘b’ signifying the year 2001. Housed in its original navy blue presentation box, the cream silk interior lid is gold-blocked with the text ‘THE GREEN WELLIE / A GOLDSMITHS LIMITED EDITION’.
