A Murano hand-blown and sculpted glass clown figurine. The figure is depicted in a standing pose, holding a black musical instrument, possibly a guitar or mandolin. The sculpture features a dark blue top hat, textured yellow hair, and a white face with applied red and blue features. A prominent ruffled collar of translucent light blue glass surrounds the neck. The main body is constructed from clear glass containing suspended multicoloured glass shards, known as macchie. The figure is finished with red cuffs, white gloved hands, and oversized black shoes.
