A contemporary ceramic table lamp of ginger jar form, featuring hand-painted tubelined decoration. The design consists of large stylised red flowers with grey and green foliage set against a textured bronze-effect lustre glaze. The lamp is mounted on a turned dark wood circular base. It is fitted with a brass-tone bayonet (B22) bulb holder and a white wire shade carrier. The brown electrical cord includes an inline white rocker switch and a standard UK 3-pin plug. A small white adhesive label with the handwritten number 4854 is present on the lower body. A safety label on the bulb holder indicates a maximum wattage of 100W.
