A large porcelain vase of ovoid form, decorated in the Royal Satsuma style with moriage enamelling. The vessel features a four-lobed, deeply scalloped rim with a white glazed interior, tapering to a shouldered body and a circular pedestal foot. The exterior is decorated with a dense thousand flowers ground in pastel tones, overlaid with large teardrop-shaped medallions containing stylised floral and scroll motifs in cobalt blue, iron red, and raised gold. Two C-scroll handles with a matte gilded finish are applied to the neck. No maker marks or signatures are visible.
