This lot consists of three pieces of period furniture: a Victorian mahogany balloon back chair, an Edwardian mahogany side chair, and an early 20th-century oak canteen table. The Victorian balloon back chair is designed with a characteristic open-curved back and a carved horizontal splat, standing on cabriole front legs and featuring a cream upholstered seat. The Edwardian mahogany side chair features a central splat decorated with floral and scroll marquetry inlay, a padded top rail, and a square seat upholstered in a floral tapestry fabric, supported by square tapered legs. The Jacobean revival oak canteen table is supported by four barley-twist legs which are joined by a lower rectangular tier. The hinged lid of the table opens to a blue velvet-lined interior that is fitted with wooden dividers for a cutlery service. The oak displays a prominent grain, particularly on the top surface. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels were observed on any of the items during inspection.
