An Ercol Windsor dining suite consisting of a round drop-leaf dining table and a set of hoop-back dining chairs, including a carver armchair. The suite is constructed from solid elm for the table top and chair seats, displaying the wood’s characteristic decorative grain, while the tapered splayed legs and spindle frames are made of beech. The furniture demonstrates classic mid-century construction techniques, including visible through-tenon joinery on the chair seats. A manufacturer’s gold and blue foil label is present on the underside of a chair seat, bearing the Ercol lion and bird motif and the text MADE IN ENGLAND. The table is a Windsor drop-leaf model, designed with two hinged leaves. The chairs comprise standard side chairs and one matching carver with integrated armrests.
