A mid-century style folding bamboo four-tier etagere or shelving unit. The piece is constructed from natural bamboo poles and features four graduated shelves. Each shelf is formed from parallel bamboo slats, secured to the frame with decorative white cord lashings. The frame incorporates a folding mechanism with metal hinges at the rear and beneath the shelf supports, allowing the unit to collapse flat for storage or transportation. The design is characteristic of Tiki and Bohemian-style furniture popular during the mid-to-late 20th century. No maker marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the frame or hardware.
