A large garden sculpture of a maiden in the neoclassical style, cast in resin. The figure is depicted partially nude, with classical features and hair gathered at the nape. She is posed in a contrapposto stance with her weight on her left leg, holding a length of gathered drapery against her right thigh. The sculpture is finished with a blue-grey mottled patina intended to simulate weathered cast stone or lead. It stands on an integrated, textured circular base. There are no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or foundry stamps.
