This lot comprises two framed displays of vintage automotive trading cards. The first display features a complete set of 50 Brooke Bond Tea cards from the History of the Motor Car series, originally issued in the 1960s. The cards are arranged in five rows of ten, depicting a timeline of automotive development featuring various international manufacturers including Renault, Peugeot, Rolls-Royce, Trojan, Leyland, Lanchester, Napier, Fiat, Bugatti, Miller, BMW, and Ford. The set is mounted on a red textured fabric mat within a light-coloured frame. The second display contains 12 larger commemorative cards from The Golden Age of Motoring series. Each card features a detailed illustration of a classic luxury or racing vehicle with identifying text, including a 1927 Mercedes-Benz SS Tourer, a 1933 Auburn 12-161 Phaeton, and a 1940 Ferrari 815. Other marques featured include Bugatti, Duesenberg, Packard, Talbot-Lago, and Cord. This set is presented in a dark wood-effect frame with a gold-tone inner fillet and a black mount.
