The piece is constructed with a thick clear glass body encasing internal swirls of turquoise blue and sandy ochre tones, interspersed with dark brown mineral-like inclusions. A square white maker’s label is affixed to the side, bearing the Maltese cross emblem and the text MDINA GLASS MALTA.
