A Mdina art glass Side Stripe vase designed by Michael Harris. The vessel is constructed using the sommerso technique, featuring a vibrant cobalt blue core encased within a thick, clear glass exterior. The internal decoration features a vertical band of suspended gold-toned aventurine flecks and small bubbles, characteristic of the Side Stripe pattern. The vase has a squat, bulbous form with a short flared neck and a flat rim, supported by a substantial clear glass base with a distinctive trilobed profile.
