A Royal Crown Derby fine bone china dinner plate, decorated in the Old Imari pattern, number 1128. The piece features a traditional Imari palette of cobalt blue and iron red, heavily embellished with 22 carat gold gilding. The central design consists of a stylized floral starburst medallion, surrounded by a broad border of radiating panels. These panels alternate between geometric diaper patterns and floral sprays. The underside bears the manufacturer backstamp in red, featuring a crown surmounting a monogram cypher, surrounded by the words Royal Crown Derby English Bone China. It includes the pattern number 1128 and the Roman numeral date code XLIX. Hand-painted marks in brown and red are also visible near the base.
