A pair of glazed fine bone china figurines produced by Royal Worcester, comprising the models Poor Teddy and Old Friends, both modelled by Freda Doughty. Poor Teddy portrays a child with brown hair dressed in a yellow tunic and green shorts, cradling a teddy bear atop a circular base. Old Friends depicts a fair-haired boy in a light blue top and blue shorts wearing brown sandals, holding a white rabbit while standing on a square base. The undersides of both figures bear printed factory marks including the Royal Worcester crown mark with the number 51 at the centre. Both are marked MADE IN ENGLAND and dated 1982. Poor Teddy features a green hand-painted decorator mark JR, while Old Friends features a black hand-painted decorator mark AW.
