The queen is modelled standing on a rectangular base with a grey marbled upper surface, wearing an ochre-coloured gown decorated with a brown scrolled floral pattern. Her bodice is embellished with red and white geometric motifs, and she features delicate porcelain lace-work to her ruff and cuffs. She holds a colourful feathered fan in her left hand, and a translucent porcelain veil is positioned behind her head. The front of the base is inscribed Elizabeth I in black. The underside displays a teal printed factory mark comprising a five-pointed crown over a stylized MR monogram.
