An electrified banquet lamp in the Victorian style, featuring a cast metal support with a gold-tone finish. The central support is a figural representation of a winged putto or cherub standing upon an ornate, pierced base decorated with C-scrolls and foliate motifs. The lamp includes a decorative openwork gallery with scrolled arms that support a large, hemispherical white milk glass shade and an internal clear glass chimney. The lamp has been converted for modern electrical use and is fitted with a gold-coloured flex, an inline rocker switch, and a standard UK three-pin plug. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the metal base or gallery. A small yellow circular price sticker is adhered to the milk glass shade.
