A hand-painted Italian resin composite figurine of a hobo-style clown, sculpted by Luigi Belcari. The figure is depicted in a stooped posture, dressed in a yellow shirt with three prominent red buttons, a blue bow tie, and blue vertical-striped trousers. The clown features characteristic makeup, orange-red hair, and a small black hat. He is depicted wearing white gloves and holding a mallet that rests upon the base. A red tool or prop is visible in the back pocket of the trousers. The figurine is set on an integral, textured off-white base which is mounted onto a circular tiered wooden plinth. The base is signed in dark pigment with the cursive signature L. Belcari. A small yellow adhesive label with the number 4854 is present on the base.
