This lot comprises three British military issue items including two aircraft crash axes and a standard clasp knife. The first item is an RAF pattern aircraft escape axe featuring a steel head with a cutting edge, pointed poll, and a distinctive triangular cutout. The handle is finished in black rubberised insulation and is embossed with the stores code prefix 22C/. The second item is a British military aircraft crash axe with a solid steel head, curved cutting edge, and spiked poll. The head is clearly stamped with the maker name Chillington, the Air Ministry AM mark, and the date 1944. It features a black insulated handle designed for electrical protection. The third item is a British military pattern all-metal folding clasp knife. It consists of a single sheepfoot blade and a folding marlinspike housed within chequered steel handle scales. The knife includes an integral copper lanyard shackle.
