A silver-plated five-light candelabrum designed in the Rococo Revival style. The piece consists of a central upright light and four scrolling branches. Each branch is decorated with cast acanthus leaf and scroll motifs, terminating in foliate-decorated nozzles and fixed drip pans. The central stem features gadrooned sections and tapers down to a heavily embossed rectangular base. The base is designed with a shaped, scalloped edge and is decorated with shell and scrolling foliage motifs. The item is silver-plated over a base metal and is weighted for stability. No maker’s marks, hallmarks, or labels are visible.
