The collection consists of printed paper envelopes containing tissue paper pattern pieces and instructional sheets from makers such as Vogue, McCall’s, Simplicity, New Look, Butterick, and Practical. Notable items comprise a The Vogue Woman pattern number 964/961 depicting a jacket and trousers, marked not for resale. Also included are New Look 6663 (size 8-16), Simplicity 5973 (size HH 6-12), Very Easy Vogue 8399 (size 10-14), and McCall’s M6465 (size 8-16) and 5625. Two vintage Practical brand children’s patterns for girls’ shifts are present, along with multiple newspaper-style Prima Pattern inserts, one of which is dated October 2004.
