This lot consists of two portable devices from the mid-20th century, each housed in its respective carrying case. The first item is an Olympia Traveller de Luxe manual typewriter, featuring a red and white plastic body with a QWERTY keyboard and white plastic keys. The unit bears the OLYMPIA mark on the left side of the carriage cover and the Traveller de Luxe model name with a stylized i logo on the right. The off-white hard plastic carrying case is fitted with a black handle and contains the molded text Typewriter and case made in Western Germany on the interior of the lid. The second item is a Geloso model G-255-S reel-to-reel tape recorder. The unit is constructed with a cream-coloured plastic housing and features brown, green, and yellow control knobs. A red identification label on the deck is inscribed TAPE RECORDER, G-255-S, FOR MUSIC AND SPEECH, SPEEDS: 1.875 and 3.75 P. SEC., and GELOSO. The tape recorder is contained within a maroon canvas and leatherette carrying bag. Both units are accompanied by their original power and connection cords.
