UK silver Maundy fourpence, 1847, KM-732. This struck silver coin features the Young Head obverse with the legend VICTORIA D:G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F:D:. The piece is housed in a clear plastic sleeve within a black collector folder, accompanied by a paper insert typed MAUNDY 4 PENCE 1847. The silver surface exhibits a greyish-white colour with darker toning around the legends. Maundy money is traditionally distributed by the British monarch during the Royal Maundy service.
