A set of silver Maundy coins issued for the year 1898 during the reign of Queen Victoria. The set comprises the fourpence, threepence, twopence, and penny denominations, all struck in sterling silver. The obverse of each coin features the Old Head or Veiled Head portrait of Queen Victoria. The reverse displays a crowned numeral indicating the denomination within an oak wreath, with the date 1898 split by the central figure. The collection is housed in a clear plastic multi-pocket sleeve within a blue fabric-covered folding wallet, including a typed identification label.
