A Royal Winton earthenware three-tier cake stand featuring three graduated plates with scalloped, petal-form rims. The tiers are finished in a harlequin palette of pastel yellow, pink, and mint green glazes, each with a gilt-metal effect edge. The components are joined by a central gilt-metal effect spindle with a looped handle. The underside of the green base plate bears a grey transfer mark reading Royal Winton, GRIMWADES, MADE IN ENGLAND and the letter A, with a faint impressed number 7. The lot includes a trio of earthenware animal figurines featuring a rocking horse, a rabbit, and a teddy bear. These pieces are decorated with an all-over floral chintz transfer pattern in shades of pink, blue, and green. The figurines are hollow-cast and the rabbit and bear include small black painted eyes. No maker’s marks are visible on the animal figurines.
