A pair of garden pedestals? or plinths? constructed from a grey-toned reconstituted stone. Each piece features a square top with a moulded edge, supported by a shaft in the form of a Solomonic or barley-twist column. The shafts terminate in a series of circular mouldings above a substantial square plinth base. The surfaces exhibit an aged, weathered finish with a developed patina of moss, lichen, and dark staining resulting from outdoor exposure. The material has a grainy, textured appearance typical of cast stone.
