A 20th century? cast stone birdbath of classical garden form. The ornament features a shallow circular basin with a broad, rounded rim, supported by a central pedestal modelled as a kneeling putto or cherub. The figure is depicted in a dynamic pose with hands raised to support the weight of the basin overhead, positioned upon an integrated naturalistic rockwork base. The piece exhibits a heavily weathered finish resulting from prolonged outdoor exposure, with significant areas of lichen and moss growth across the surfaces and orange-brown mineral staining to the interior of the bowl.
