A pair of Victorian? glazed earthenware? portrait figurines depicting historical figures. The first is a bust of the American President Abraham Lincoln, modelled with grey-toned hair and beard, wearing a navy blue jacket over an ochre-coloured patterned waistcoat and black cravat, set upon a shaped base featuring the painted inscription LIN COLN. The second figurine depicts the noted English gaol keeper Daniel Lambert, shown seated upon a rustic bench with a grassy mound base. He is dressed in a navy blue coat, yellow waistcoat, and pale blue breeches, with a raised white label to the front of the base bearing the painted black inscription LAMBERT. Both pieces are finished with a clear lead-type glaze over polychrome enamel decoration.
