A trio of wall-mounted display cases constructed from dark-stained mahogany-finished hardwood?. The group consists of a matching pair of arched-top cabinets and a single rectangular shadow box. Each arched cabinet is designed with a decorative scroll-work pediment and contains two glass shelves set against a mirrored back panel, enclosed by a single glazed door hinged to the side. The rectangular cabinet features an internal wooden grid dividing the space into twelve equal rectangular compartments, suitable for the display of miniatures or thimbles. All three items are fitted with single glazed doors and are secured by decorative gilt metal effect foliate swing latches. The cabinets exhibit a uniform deep reddish-brown finish throughout with a polished surface sheen.
