Buyer's Premium:

A circular sterling silver salver or waiter of traditional design featuring a raised piecrust or Chippendale style scalloped border. The tray stands upon three cast scroll feet. The upper surface is plain. The primary hallmarks consist of the maker’s mark W&H for Walker and Hall, the Sheffield crown assay mark, the lion passant sterling silver standard mark, and the lowercase date letter m for 1904. The underside is further stamped with the manufacturer’s name Walker and Hall Sheffield, the pattern number 53683, and the company’s pennant trade mark containing the initials W&H. A faint, partially illegible engraving is present to the underside.
