A large landscape-oriented wall mirror in the Regency revival style, suitable for use as an overmantel mirror. The rectangular frame is constructed from molded composition with a bright gilded finish and features a repeating egg-and-dart style border. The top is surmounted by an ornate openwork cresting featuring a central urn motif flanked by scrolling acanthus leaves and foliate swags. The mirror plate is of tripartite (three-part) construction, consisting of three panels of bevelled glass separated by two vertical bevelled dividers. The edges of the main plates are also bevelled. The construction is characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century decorative furnishings.
