A decorative framed print, being a reproduction after the 1825 oil portrait of Master Lambton, popularly known as ‘The Red Boy’, by Sir Thomas Lawrence. The image depicts a young boy in a red velvet suit reclining against a rocky outcrop. The print is set within a highly ornate, gilt-finished composite frame, characterised by Rococo-style scrollwork and three-dimensional figures of cherubs or putti at the corners and top edge. The verso is finished with a black felt backing and includes a metal triangular hanging loop. No signatures, labels, or maker’s marks are visible on the print or frame.
