An antique handheld wooden measuring wheel, commonly referred to as a trundle wheel, fashioned from a dark-toned hardwood. The tool comprises a long, tapered handle and a flat, circular wooden disk. The disk is rotatably mounted to the handle by a central wooden peg acting as an axle. A deep, straight radial groove is carved into the disk, extending from the outer edge towards the centre. The distal end of the handle features a drilled hole with an attached knotted leather cord loop for hanging. No manufacturer markings or stamps are present on the wooden or leather components.
