A small circular dish commissioned for the Cunard Line shipping company and manufactured by Elkington and Co. The dish is of shallow form with a reeded rim. The interior is engraved with the company logo, featuring a lion rampant holding a globe, positioned above the text CUNARD. The underside features several stamped markings, including the serial number 35942, a crown crest, and the manufacturer marks ELKINGTON and PLATE followed by ENGLAND. A shield-shaped cartouche contains the letter U, serving as a date code for the year 1931.
