This lot comprises a collection of vintage open-face pocket watches manufactured by Ingersoll and Smiths Empire. The collection includes examples with chrome-plated base metal cases featuring snap-on or screw-back covers and standard bow-top winding stems. Four dials are finished in white or cream with black Arabic numerals and sub-seconds dials at the 6 o’clock position. Two of these Ingersoll examples feature an additional outer 24-hour ring printed in red. One watch, branded Smiths Empire, features a heavily patinated dial with Arabic numerals and luminous-filled syringe-style hands. All movements are manual wind.
