A trio of mid-century British holiday camp commemorative enamel lapel badges. This collection includes items from two of the most prominent holiday camp operators, Butlin’s and Pontins. The first badge is rectangular with clipped corners, featuring a leaping stag motif in brown enamel against a field of blue and yellow; the face is inscribed vertically with BUTLIN’S and horizontally with 1965 MINEHEAD. The second badge is shield-shaped, featuring a rising sun over waves in green and white; the red top section is inscribed BUTLIN’S MARGATE and the green lower section is inscribed 1959. The third badge is circular with a black outer border inscribed PONTINS HOLIDAY CAMP; the central pictorial reserve shows a red-painted holiday chalet in a green field beneath a rising sun. All three items are constructed of silver-toned base metal with polychrome enamel infill and pin-back fixings.
