This lot comprises a pair of vintage wall mirrors in the Rococo revival style, featuring ornate pierced frames. The larger rectangular mirror is oriented horizontally and set within a cast metal frame decorated with scrolling foliate, acanthus leaf motifs, and decorative finials. It contains a bevelled mirror plate. The second mirror is oval in form with a similarly styled frame of scrolling leaf and shell-like details. The reverse of the oval mirror retains a printed paper retailer label for J. & W. Hastings Ltd., Bridgeside, Rotherham. The frames are constructed from cast metal with a bright gilt-finished surface. Both mirrors are equipped with suspension chains for wall mounting.
