A collection of vintage British meat extract advertising items consisting of a branded wooden display crate and seven amber glass bottles. The rectangular crate is constructed from wood and features bold black stencilled lettering to the front reading BOVRIL IS BEEF FORCE. The assortment of bottles includes one large 16 oz Bovril Limited bottle, one large 16 oz Oxo bottle, and several smaller jars. Four of these are 4 oz Bovril Limited bottles, alongside one further small bottle. All bottles are made from moulded amber glass and feature embossed branding and capacity marks. These items represent iconic early 20th-century UK commercial packaging for two major brands.
