A pair of modern crystal candlesticks of columnar form. Each piece features a stem constructed from four graduated, multi-faceted crystal spheres separated by polished chrome-finished metal spacers. The stems are supported by stepped, circular crystal bases with radial faceting. Each candlestick is topped with a wide, flat, faceted crystal drip pan. The underside of each base features a small, circular recessed mark containing the digit 8. The high clarity and refractive properties of the glass suggest a lead crystal composition.
