A late 19th or early 20th-century porcelain figural vase, modelled in the Rococo revival style typical of Continental workshops such as those in Dresden. The central vessel is formed as a large open tulip with flamed orange and yellow petals, finished with gilded edges. A hand-painted porcelain putto or cherub is positioned reclining along the rim, wearing a loincloth decorated with blue floral motifs. The base is composed of scrolling green foliage and stems, featuring a smaller purple and white flower bud to one side. The piece is further decorated with applied, encrusted porcelain flowers including a pink rose and blue forget-me-nots. The work is finished with polychrome enamel hand-painting and gold highlights. No factory marks or model numbers are visible on the exterior surfaces.
