This is a large Continental porcelain figurine of an 18th-century lady, produced in the Rococo style and likely of German or French origin from the late 19th or early 20th century. The figure is depicted in period costume, featuring a blue bodice with pink lacing and a white, lace-trimmed chemise. The voluminous skirt is decorated with vertical panels showing floral sprigs and gilded diaper patterns, separated by rows of numerous finely modelled applied pink roses and green foliage. She wears a feathered and beribboned hat atop powdered hair and holds a small floral spray in her left hand. The circular base is finished with a gilded border. The item is made of glazed polychrome-decorated porcelain with hand-painted details and gilt highlights throughout. The base is hollow and unglazed with no visible factory marks.
